The Summerside Storm are sad to report that Xavier Hansbro has decided to return home due to personal family reasons.
The 6’10” 225lbs forward averaged ten points per game, shot 42% from the three-point line, and averaged 5 rebounds per game. Head Coach Joe Salerno had this to say about Xavier’s leaving:
“It’s unfortunate X has decided to leave the team at this point in our season. He is a good player who has come up in some big spots for us in recent games. We have a deep bench and now this just gives some other guys the chance to step up in his absence. We wish Xavier and his family the best.”
The Storm play two away games this week, tonight in Oshawa, and Thursday in London, both at 7pm, catch the action live at www.stormbasketball.ca. Next home game is February 9th, 7pm.
