The Storm will attempt to keep their playoff hopes alive this week when they take on the London Lightning Thursday night at 7pm.
The Storm are currently tied for 5th place with Oshawa, at 10 and 19. The last time Summerside faced off against London, they were able to keep the first place team at bay for most of the game, at times holding them to one-point.
Prior to the big game, the Storm will host a high school AA girls game, with Three Oaks Senior High taking on Cornel Gray, game is at 4pm and entry is with a Storm ticket, allowing fans to take in two games for the price of one!
Entertainment for the night will give fans a taste of some superior athletes in their community. The PEI Mustang Wheelchair Basketball Team will play a four on four game at the half. This is the same team who will be representing PEI at the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League championships, which are being held at UPEI April 6-8.
And of course there will be plenty of chances to win with the Cavendish Beach Music Festival Shoot to Win, Girlfriends Hair Studio draw, and the 50/50 draw which at recent games has been averaging over $1000 take!
