Tomorrow is the FIRST regular season game for the Summerside Storm in their second year in the NBL.

Game is at 7 p.m. at Eastlink Arena in the Credit Union Place versus the Saint John Mill Rats.

Charlottetown fans can take the Storm Express Bus from Sherwood BMR at 5:45 p.m. Cost is $10 for bus ticket or $15 for bus and game, purchase at BMR

The event starts with a tailgate party beginning at 5:30 p.m. featuring entertainment by Keith Broderick, an outdoor shoot to win for prizes, along with free Greco pizza and Pepsi products to the first 500 Storm fans with a game ticket. Volunteers from the United Way of Prince Edward Island will be helping with the tailgate party.

The pre-game inside the arena begins with the full College of Piping Band and a fireworks display during the induction of this year’s edition of the Summerside Storm. The National Anthem will be sung by Summerside’s own Brook MacArthur who finished in the top three out of 1,500 who entered the MuchMusic Covers Contest last summer. During the game there will prize giveaways, 50-50 draw, the Storm Troupers entertaining during the game.

Also during the game the Storm will be taking donations for the American Red Cross to help with the devastation created by Hurricane Sandy down the Eastern Seaboard. A number of players in the National Basketball League of Canada, including Storm players, come for this area.
